he CDD8-WR / MAR is a professional, ultra-compact two-way passive loudspeaker system engineered for elite performance in the world’s most demanding outdoor and maritime environments. Whether providing high-fidelity audio for a luxury yacht deck or a coastal resort terrace, this system overcomes environmental challenges without sacrificing acoustic detail.

The Technology: Coaxial Differential Dispersion

At its core is an integrated 8” (200mm) LF / 1” (25mm) exit HF Coaxial Differential Dispersion driver. This proprietary technology delivers a "point-source" sonic image with a unique coverage pattern that is wider in the near-field and narrower as distance increases. This ensures a consistent frequency response and SPL for every listener, regardless of their position relative to the speaker.

Rugged Engineering for Extreme Elements

Built to survive where standard loudspeakers fail, the CDD8 series offers two levels of specialized protection:

• Weatherised (WR): Designed for outdoor applications subject to changing environmental conditions. It features a weather-resistant enclosure, zinc-plated powder-coated grille, and water-repellent internal components.

• Marine-Grade (MAR): Specifically upgraded for salt-heavy, high-humidity, and coastal spray zones. This version utilizes 316L stainless steel hardware and specialized high-UV, corrosion-resistant coatings to ensure longevity in open-water environments.
