Input video signals can be transmitted up to 328 ft. (100 m); 1080p (24 bit) video signals can be sent up to 492 ft. (150 m) in Long reach mode.RS-232C bidirectional communication and LAN transmission are also supported.

Additionally, the FDX-SIV4US also features multiple link (DUAL LINK 3G, DUAL LINK 6G 2SI, and QUAD LINK 3G LEVEL A 2SI [2 Sample Interleave]) that supports the following conversion: from DUAL LINK 3G-SDI to SINGLE LINK 6G-SDI; from DUAL LINK 6G-SDI to SINGLE LINK 12G-SDI; from QUAD LINK 3G-SDI to SINGLE LINK 12G-SDI.
